This site is a tribute to Jennifer Chettle, who was born in Burnham Buckinghamshire on February 24, 1943.
Jenny Chettle sadly died in the Hospice in the Weald, on December 6th 2024 of
mesothelioma, the asbestos related lung cancer.
Having lived in Edenbridge, Chiddingstone and latterly Cowden was an extremely popular and well loved friend.
She was a keen walker and had walked many of the long distance paths with a
group of friends and also climbed Snowden 7 times. Full of community spirit, she supported many groups/charity events volunteering and also enjoyed singing, poetry, nature, wildlife and attending church.
Spending time with family either on holiday or celebrating Birthdays, Christmas
and Easter along with the grandchildren too, played a special part in her life.
In her last months while she became increasingly ill, so many friends and family
called round to her cottage to sit with her, read, sing, or reminisce with her.
Her door was always open.
She will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her.
In memory of my lovely cousin, a playmate, a travel and theatre companion, a fellow campaigner online - all my life, you were there.
Forever missed 💜 we cannot thank the Hospice in the Weald enough . Always in our thoughts dear Mum much love Debbie, Jon & Jax XxX
With fond memories.
